PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To classify the types of sewing work according to the number of stitches while excluding variance caused by touch-back sewing.SOLUTION: A sewing machine 10 measures the total number of stitches and the number of stitches of reverse feeding in sewing, from which the sewing machine 10 generates stitch number data. A production management device 101 includes: a calculation section 105 for calculating the corrected number of stitches for the stitch number data by subtracting a numeric value twice the number of stitches of reverse feeding from the total number of stitches; and a tabulation processing section 105 for classifying, among the corrected numbers of stitches obtained from a plurality of pieces of stitch number data, the corrected numbers of stitches which are the same or approximate to each other within a fixed range as those belonging to the same type of sewing work, and for obtaining a production amount per type of sewing work according to the classification. |
