PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrist watch which can be easily attached to or detached from its case, without having to use exclusive tools, ensure ample attaching strength to the case, and moreover, to provide a good feeling of use. SOLUTION: Fitting legs 6 having attaching holes 7 are formed protrusively on the case 5, and each crotch part 5a, for receiving an end piece (case connecting part) 11 of a band 3 attachable to and detachable from the case 5, is formed between the legs 6. Each end piece 11 is provided with an operating opening. Each linking appliance 21 equipped with a cylindrical rotating body 22 and linking axes 23, 24 is fitted in the end piece 11. The cylindrical body 22 has internal threads 22a, 22b, and linking axes 23, 24 are screwed into these threads. The cylindrical body 22 is arranged with respect to the operating opening, and is rotated by hand from outside the end piece 11. The linking axes 23, 24 are provided so as to appear or disappear from the crosswise end faces of the end piece 11 with the rotation of the cylindrical body 22, by being attached to the end piece 11 and being prevented from rotating. The linking axes 23, 24 made to appear or disappear are inserted into or removed from the attaching holes 7, and enable attachment or detachment of the band 3 to or from the case 5.
