<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit capable of simple and secure printout even a print unit is unusable, in the image processing unit which is communicable with the print unit and controls to print a digital data of digital broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: On receiving a printout order of a digital broadcast video data, the image processing unit decides whether or not the print unit is usable. When the print unit is unusable, the image processing unit stores an image data generated from the ordered video data, together with printout control information including a description to the effect that the image data concerned are to be printed. As soon as the print unit becomes usable, the image data to be printed are identified on the basis of the printout control information, and transmitted to the print unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
