<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for introducing a non-natural amino acid, having difficulty in introduction by a four base codon method, a terminator codon method and an artificial codon method being methods for introducing a non-natural amino acid to a protein, to a protein. <P>SOLUTION: The method for transferring a non-natural amino acid to a protein comprises inserting a codon which is selected from the group consisting of a four base codon composed of four or more continuous bases, a terminator codon and an artificial codon composed of a non-natural base and is assigned to a non-natural amino acid to the introduction position of the non-natural amino acid which is an arbitrary position from N terminal to No. 33 of protein amino acid sequence and is an arbitrary position from right under an ATG or AUG start codon of DNA encoding a protein or mRNA base sequence to No. 33 and carrying out the translation of the protein through a tRNA which recognizes these codons and is bound with the non-natural amino acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
