PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a skin condition more suitably than a prior apparatus by using information about the dermis.

SOLUTION: An apparatus for evaluation skin condition 1 evaluates condition of the skin having the epidermal layer and the dermal layer. The apparatus has a measurement means that measures either or both of moisture content and ion concentration of the dermal layer and acquires information about either or both of them, and an evaluation means for evaluating the skin condition on the basis of the information acquired by the measurement means.
