PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for display channel driving and scanning that can increase image sharpness by removing a clearness decreasing phenomenon of an LCD panel, and thereby reduce the power consumption of a portable device to prolong the use lifetime.SOLUTION: A system for display channel driving and scanning includes a timing controller which divides one frame period into first to third periods. In the first period, an image processing device calculates an overdrive signal for a current frame based upon the current frame and precedent frame. In the second period, the image processing device outputs the current frame, and a source driver charges capacitors of pixels of a liquid crystal display panel based upon the current frame. In the third period, the timing controller drives a backlight driving circuit to turn on a backlight source of the liquid crystal display panel so as to display the current frame. |
