PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing fitting assembly for a steel-pipe steel tower, which can be simply mounted on a gusset-plate welding node steel pipe of an existing steel-pipe steel tower only by bolt-nut fastening, and which can impart desired tensile strength to the node steel pipe. SOLUTION: This reinforcing fitting assembly is mounted on the gusset-plate welding node steel pipe 8 of the existing steel-pipe steel tower 1. An I-type assembly 20 comprises first and second blocks 21 and 22 which are each formed in a rectangular flat plate shape. Arcuate recesses 211 and 221 are provided in a mutually opposed state almost in the long-side-direction center of each of the blocks 21 and 22, and coaxial bolt holes 212 and 222 elongated in the short-side direction are provided at both the long-side-direction ends thereof. The recesses 211 and 221 are brought into contact with the outer periphery of the node steel pipe 8, and nuts 24 are fastened to bolts 23 which pass through the coaxial bolt holes at both the ends, respectively, so that each of the blocks can be fastened and fixed to the node steel pipe.
