PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin type merchandise dispensing machine dispensing merchandise by predetermined artificial input irrespective of the input of coins. SOLUTION: The merchandise dispensing machine comprises a handle lock mechanism for locking the dispensing operation of an operating handle, and a first handle lock release mechanism for unlocking the handle lock mechanism when the predetermined coins are put in, and dispenses merchandise when the operating handle is operated for dispensing. The merchandise dispensing machine also comprises a second handle lock release mechanism driven by predetermined artificial input irrespective of the input of the predetermined coins to unlock the handle lock mechanism.
