PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device selection control system, a processor, a control unit, and a method for controlling device selection which enable a user to select a desired processor when there are a plurality of processors within a range of radio communication. SOLUTION: According to a user's operation, an instruction device 2 transmits a sender (destination) selection signal to the processor by radio communication. The plurality of processors present within the range of radio communication transmits sender (destination) candidate registration messages to a control unit 5 respectively, whereas the control unit 5 selects one of the processors to which the messages have been transmitted and transmits a sender (destination) candidate notification message to the selected processor. By displaying that the processor has been selected, the user recognizes the selected processor and repeats the operation until the desired processor is selected as a candidate and displayed.
