<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Natto (fermented soybean) stirrer has a screw-like stirring body and includes a guard plate on the side for functionally and efficiently stirring, to solve the problem that a conventional electric-powered fermented soybean stirrer inefficiently stirs fermented soybean with a U-shaped stick body. <P>SOLUTION: This fermented soybean stirrer 1 has a size large enough to be grasped with the hand. A screw-like stirring body 9 made by screwing a spatula plate is attached to a driving shaft 8 which is connected to a motor 6 and a variable speed mechanism 7 in a container body 5 provided with a switch 11 on the outside having a base part 2 at the front.
