<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the brightness enhancement rate of a scatter type polarizer having a phase separation structure composed of two kinds of polymers by investigating factors negatively influencing the enhancement of the brightness. <P>SOLUTION: A composition including a polyester type resin (A) composing a continuous phase and a polystyrene type resin (B) composing a dispersion phase is formed into a film, and the obtained cast sheet is stretched to make a scatter type polarizer, wherein the crystallization temperature of the polystyrene type resin (B) is 20 °C or lower when the scatter type polarizer is cooled at a temperature fall rate of 20 °C/min in a differential scanning calorimetry. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
