<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming an image on both surfaces of a sheet without increasing the size of the device and lowering the throughput. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of normally and reversely rotatable sheet inverting and conveying rollers 16 are installed in a lead-in path R2 formed by branching from a sheet conveying path R1 between sheet conveying parts 13a, 13b for conveying sheets and a pair of sheet discharge rollers 14. After the sheet selectively conveyed into the lead-in path R2 by the sheet conveying parts 13a, 13b is temporarily led to the lead-in path side, it is inverted and conveyed into a re-conveying path 26. The sheet inverting and conveying roller 16 is installed at a position where the sheet conveying distance L2 between the branch point B between the sheet conveying path R1 and the lead-in path R2 and the sheet inverting and conveying roller 16 is shorter than the sheet conveying distance L1 between the branch point B and the pair of sheet discharge rollers 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
