<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control engine speed in each propulsion machine to quickly and smoothly synchronize with the engine speed intended by a person maneuvering a ship. <P>SOLUTION: This control device for a propulsion machine has a plurality of propulsion machines arranged on a ship in parallel, has the same electrically connected with correlating to two adjoining operation levers 14L, 14R, and synchronizes engine speeds of each propulsion machine by operating a shift drive device and a throttle drive device. The device is provided with an engine speed detection means detecting engine speed of the reference propulsion machine and engine speed of the propulsion machine of a synchronization object, an averaging means averaging the same, and a control means performing control to synchronize engine speed of the propulsion machine of the synchronization object to engine speed of the reference propulsion machine. The device performs control to synchronize engine speed of each propulsion machine by correcting throttle opening of the propulsion machine of the synchronization object based on deviation of the averaged engine speed of the reference propulsion machine and engine speed of the propulsion machine of the synchronization object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
