<p>The invention refers to a hygienic tampon ( 1 ), particularly for use in a woman's vaginal cavity, comprising an absorbent body ( 2 ) provided with at least one absorbent layer ( 3 ) and that defines a first inner surface ( 2 ') and a second opposite outer surface ( 2 ''), the second outer surface ( 2 '') being in contact with the wearer's body. The tampon ( 1 ) is shaped by applying substantially punctual force perpendicularly to said absorbent body ( 2 ) and comprises at least one string ( 4 ) positioned substantially on the inner surface ( 2 ') of the absorbent body ( 2 ).
