PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical package designed so as to sufficiently suppress occurrence of a pin hole in a cylindrical film and sufficiently excel in sealability. SOLUTION: The cylindrical package is equipped with (A) a stuff with which the package is filled, (B) a cylindrical base material film which is formed from a film of polyvinylidene chloride resin and which is filled with the stuff by gathering each lengthwise end of the film, and (C) a reinforcing tape formed from a film of the polyvinylidene chloride resin and welded around each gathered portion of the base material film so as to cover this portion. In the cylindrical package, the lengthwise heat shrinkage rate R<SB>B</SB>of the reinforcing tape before welding is in the range of 10 to 27%, and the lengthwise tensile secant elastic modulus E<SB>B</SB>of the reinforcing tape before welding is in the range of 250 to 450 MPa.
