PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for vehicles that makes it possible to enhance the accuracy of the stop position of a DC servo motor inexpensively. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is so constructed that the following is implemented: the point at which power supply to a DC servo motor is cut according to supply voltage is varied based on the amount of inertia rotation at the time of servo stop according to the magnitude of voltage supplied to the DC servo motor; and the DC servo motor is thereby stopped at a point closer to a target position.
