PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery management device capable of executing a current sensor offset correction without entailing over-discharge of an auxiliary battery or the like even if a voltage converter for charging the auxiliary battery is connected to a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A secondary battery management device determines whether a DC-DC converter 22 can be stopped without causing a problem such as degradation in an auxiliary battery 26 if the DC-DC converter 22 is operating when a motor generator 14 stops. If determining that the DC-DC converter 22 can be stopped, the secondary battery management device stops operation of the DC-DC converter 22. Upon stopping the operation of the DC-DC converter 22, no current flows from a secondary battery 16 to the motor generator 14 and the DC-DC converter 22. This make it possible to accurately calculate a correction value for offset-correcting a current sensor 18. |
