PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plant engineering support device that efficiently creates information required for designing a control panel and can improve the working efficiency and the quality in designing the control panel.SOLUTION: The steel plant engineering support device includes a plant master information storage device 2 for storing plant master information that associates together an identifier for registering each of plant machines constituting a plant designed in past years, control apparatus information of each apparatus for controlling each plant machine, and operation tool information of each operation tool for operating each apparatus. The support device includes an apparatus extraction condition input device 4 capable of inputting an identifier for designing each of plant machines constituting a plant during designing and a tool arrangement command for determining whether each operation tool is arranged on a control panel connected to each plant machine. The support device includes a master information extraction device 5 for extracting, from the plant master information, the operation tool information of the operation tool to be commanded to be arranged on the control panel by the tool arrangement command, and creating operation apparatus information. |
