PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire configured to more effectively improve an on-ice performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes: a tread part 1; a sidewall part 2 and a bead part 3. The tread part 1 is provided with a plurality of circumferential direction grooves 11 and 12 extending in a tire circumferential direction and the plurality of lateral grooves 13 and 14 extending in a tire width direction. The plurality of blocks 15 are partitioned by these circumferential direction grooves 11 and 12 and the lateral grooves 13 and 14, and the plurality of sipes 20 extending in the tire width direction are provided in each of blocks 15. In each sipe 20, a projection 23 is formed in one of a pair of facing wall surfaces 21 and 22, and a recess 24 that meshes with the projection 23 is formed on the other of the pair of the wall surfaces 21 and 22. In the sipe 20 that positions at least at the circumferential direction end part of the block 15, at least a portion of the projection 23 is disposed so that the maximum height position is contained in the tread side area A to become less than 50% of the sipe maximum depth d, and the projection 23 disposed in the tread side area A is disposed so that over 70% of its space is thrusted out toward outside of the block 15. |
