CURING AGENT FOR ANIONICALLY CURABLE COMPOUND, CURABLE COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT, AND NOVEL IMIDAZOLE-BASED COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a novel imidazole-based curing agent that has excellent storage stability and excellent curability as a one-pack type curing agent, and in which handling is convenient; a curable composition; a cured product that comprises curing the composition; and further a novel imidazole-based compound useful as the curing agent for an anionically curable compound.SOLUTION: A curing agent for an anionically curable compound includes an imidazole-based compound wherein the 1-position of the imidazole skeleton is protected with a protecting group (A) that can be eliminated at a temperature of at least 50°C; a curable composition includes the curing agent and the anionically curable compound; and a cured product is obtained by curing the composition. The imidazole-based compound is exemplified by an imidazole-based compound represented by general formula (1). In the formula, A denotes a protecting group that can be eliminated at a temperature of at least 50°C; and R1-R3 each independently denotes a hydrogen atom, a 1-15C alkyl group or a phenyl group.
