PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Li-containing perovskite-type piezoelectric powder which is suppressed in the volatilization of Li during its production, thereby does not need to raise the firing temperature to a higher temperature, and does not cause the deterioration of piezoelectric properties, and to provide a method for producing the Li-containing perovskite-type piezoelectric powder.SOLUTION: An Li-containing piezoelectric ceramic powder material has a composition represented by general formula: RLiMO(wherein, 0≤a≤0.020 and 0<y≤0.020), obtained by incorporating Li into a piezoelectric ceramic material represented by general formula: RMO(wherein, R is at least one of Ba, Sr, Ca, Mg, Bi, Na and K; and M is at least one of Ti, Mn and Nb), and has a perovskite-structure. The Li-containing piezoelectric ceramic powder material is produced by mixing an R-compound, a lithium compound, and an M-compound in a molar ratio of (1-a):(a+y):(1-y) in a solvent, further mixing a solution for hydrolysis with the resulting mixture, and reacting the compounds while heating them in the temperature range of 50-800°C under superatmospheric pressure by utilizing a solvothermal reaction to obtain slurry. |
