The invention relates to a chemical mixture for removing arsenic from water, formed by silica sand, iron with a purity of at least 97%, and brick dust. The invention also relates to a filter for removing arsenic from water, comprising a bed of a non-porous material, and a quantity of said chemical mixture. The invention further relates to a system for producing drinking water, characterised by comprising a filter for removing arsenic from water, of the type described in the preceding paragraph, a manganese dioxide filter, an activated carbon filter, and a zeolite filter. In addition, the invention relates to a method for removing arsenic from water, and a method for producing drinking water, as well as the water products resulting from said methods. |
