PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient processing to change setting so that a subscriber terminal device can comply with a protocol after change when the protocol has changed that is performed when the subscriber terminal device communicates with a subscriber accommodation device.SOLUTION: A subscriber terminal device 40 of the present invention comprises: a plurality of communication processing units 41-1 to 41-n that perform different protocols from each other and perform communication processing specific to a particular communication protocol when they perform the particular communication protocol among a plurality of communication protocols to communicate with a subscriber accommodation device; and a selection unit 42 that selects one from the plurality of communication processing units 41-1 to 41-n as a particular communication processing unit for performing communication processing to the subscriber accommodation device on the basis of identification information capable of distinguishing the communication protocols.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
