PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction method of a shoe, a method by which correction for making foot circumference or instep girth smaller can be done with less labor and time, for the purpose of fitting to users' foot these leather shoes that are manufactured larger than the desired size in ordered shoes, that are ready-made shoes larger than users' foot size, or that have become larger than users' size after the manufacturing of the shoes.SOLUTION: For the shoes which have a bottom part and an upper made of leather that is formed upward from the bottom part and which are formed by lasting process for the upper in manufacturing, the shoes are corrected by: immersing the shoe upper in water to stick water to the outside and inside surface of the upper (S11); a last is inserted inside the shoe (S12); and hot air is blown to a partial region which is a part in the outer region of the upper and, while the partial region for blowing the hot air is successively moved, the entire upper is dried, shrunk, and made to adhere to the last (S13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
