PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sealable biaxially oriented polyester film excellent in piecing resistance, heat resistance, transparency, chemical resistance and tear rectilinear propagation property and also excellent in interlayer adhesiveness even after exposed to high temperature.SOLUTION: There is provided a heat sealable biaxially oriented polyester film that comprises a thermoplastic resin composition comprising polybutylene terephthalate of 60 wt.% or more and, as a polyester resin other than the PBT resin, a resin selected from a PBT resin where dicarboxylic acid such as isophthalic acid, orthophthalic acid, naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, biphenyldicarboxylic acid, cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid, adipic acid, azelaic acid, sebacic acid is copolymerized in addition to a polyester resin such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene naphthalate (PEN), polybutylene naphthalate (PBN), polypropylene terephthalate (PPT), and has piecing strength of a film of 0.75 N/μm or more, haze value per thickness of the film of 0.35%/μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
