PURPOSE: An evaporation thickener using burner is provided, which is characterized in that the thickener concentrates wastewater, leachate and so on by heating, solidifies the concentrated water and transfers the solids to outside by using conveyers with screws. The thickener has scrapers to eliminate scales generated from evaporation-thickening process. The scales are such as calcium, carbonate, calcium sulfate and silica. CONSTITUTION: An evaporation thickener using burner consists of the following parts : a burner(10) to offer heat energy ; an evaporation thickener(20a) divided by a partition(23), such as a burning chamber(21) heated by the burner(10) and a thickener(22) injected concentrated water ; a stack(29) to withdraw gas in the burning chamber(21) to outside ; scrapers(31a, 31b) to eliminate scales generated from evaporation-thickening process ; conveyers(34a, 34b) to transfer collected scales with screws(33a, 33b) ; a seed parts(40) composed of a storage tank(41) for seeding agent and a gauge(44) equipped with a load cell.
