PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the plastic deformation capacity of a flat metal plate by suppressing premature shear buckling of the flat metal plate until the flat metal plate is subjected to a yield point load and stably keeping a yield shear strength against the growth of a buckling waveform after the yield load, in the approximately rectangular flat metal plate to which a shear force is primarily applied. SOLUTION: The reinforcement structure 1 of the approximately rectangular flat metal plate is a multi-layered flat metal plate formed by sandwiching an igneous plate member, a rubber plate member and various foamed plate members 4 between metal plates 2 and integrating them. A frame-like framework 3 constituted of the face of a metal strip giving the width is attached to the four circumferential sides in the intermediate part or outside part of the two metal plates. Thus, the plastic deformation capacity of the flat metal plate after shear yielding is enhanced by reinforcing the metal plate against shear buckling in face. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
