<p>The method involves transporting a work piece in an area of sensors, which are arranged at an extraction drift, on a curved path. Radius of the curvature of the curved path at a side of the work piece, on which a foil (4) is laminated, is smaller than at a lower side (7) of the work piece facing the former side, in such a manner that a gap (8) opens between the individual work pieces during passing through the curved path at the lower side of the work piece. The gap is detected by the sensor and utilized for determining the target position of the web cut. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining a target position of a web cut.</p> |
