PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantification method of corticosteroid capable of accurately quantifying corticosteroid originating from a sea horse. SOLUTION: The quantification method of corticosteroid includes a refining process 30 for selectively acquiring a fraction containing corticosteroid to be quantified from the extract of the sea horse by normal bonded phase chromatography and an analyzing process 40 for performing the mass analysis of corticosteroid contained in the fraction using a liquid chromatography/tandem type mass analyzer (LC/MS/MS).
