PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring system which certainly prevents a measurement error caused by a failure of mounting when a measuring cell is inserted in a measuring instrument. SOLUTION: The measuring system is equipped with: the measuring cell; and the measuring instrument, and the measuring cell is equipped with: a measuring cell main body including a supply port for supplying a sample to a sample holding part and an optical window part for throwing light on the sample holding part and emitting light from the sample holding part; and a grasping part protruded outside of the measuring cell main body. The measuring instrument includes: a light source for emitting the light incident on the optical window part; a photodetector for detecting the light emitted from the optical window part; an analyzing part for analyzing the light detected by the photodetector; and a measuring cell attaching part for attaching and detaching the measuring cell. The measuring cell attaching part has the notch part fitted to a grasping part so that at least a part of the grasping part protrudes outside of the measuring cell attaching part.
