<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with failure information in real time and to estimate an error of an address line for preventing a system failure in a memory dualizing system. <P>SOLUTION: LDX#1 and LDX#0 exchange ECC information (information for checking an ECC) held respectively by them with each other for performing an ECC check, and then, respectively carry out ECC (Error Correcting Code) checking on a part of request data for estimating whether an error is caused in the address line or not. Specifically, for example, the LDX#0 generates a syndrome (diagnosis information) as an ECC check result on a part of the request data, and according to a condition of the error on a part of the request data obtained from the syndrome, it is estimated that the error is caused in the address line when almost all of the request data cause uncorrectable errors, for instance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
