<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor retaining information on image data to form images by an image forming device, with enhanced efficiency in search processing. <P>SOLUTION: Image formation commands to the image forming device, including information on target image data to form images, are obtained. Based on the image formation commands obtained, the target image data are divided into a plurality of reference blocks in accordance with a predetermined division standard. For each of the reference blocks, image structure information is created in which position information indicating the position of each of the blocks within the target image data is associated with property information indicating the property of the images included in each of the blocks.
