<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device for reducing the number of components, and for generating and outputting a plurality of different commands by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel 11 reads the fingerprint image of the finger with which a user depresses a display picture, orbit information showing the orbit of the finger and depression time information, and provides them to an instruction generation part 12. The instruction generation part 12 refers to a fingerprint decision table 31, an orbit decision table 32 and a depression time decision table 33, and decides whether or not the provided fingerprint image, orbit information and depression time information are matched with a registered fingerprint image, orbit information and depression time information.
