PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of displaying so as to allow a user to set or confirm a printing condition at a glance, and performing the displaying so as to prevent items which are not able to be set at the same time, from being selected by the user. SOLUTION: This printer performs the displaying for setting a printing condition on a screen of a display. The printer is equipped with a display control section 002 that displays items of a plurality of conditions in a first display region on the screen, and displaying, in parallel, setting condition contents relating to the selected items in a second display region different from the first display region when the plurality of items displayed on the first display region are selected. The display control section 002 judges whether or not each of already selected items and the other items different from the already selected items are of the coexistable printing conditions, and makes the other items to be not able to be selected from the first display region when the coexisting is impossible.
