PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous alloy using metallic elements having small atomic radiuses as the main groups, and to provide an alloy plated metallic material using the same. SOLUTION: An alloy having high amorphous formability comprises 40 to 85 atomic% in an elemental group (A) whose atomic radiuses are less than 0.145 nm, 10 to 55 at% in an elemental group (B) whose atomic radiuses are 0.145 nm to less than 0.17 nm, and 2 to 15 at% in an elemental group (C) whose atomic radiuses are 0.17 nm or above, and is characterized in that when element (a) refers to one of the group (A) which has the highest content among the group (A), element (b) refers to one of the group (B) which has the highest content among the group (B), and element (c) refers to one of the group (C) which has the highest content among the group (C), element (a), element (b), and element (c) account for at least 90 at% of the total content of the group (A), the total content of the group (B), and the total content of the group (C) respectively and the enthalpy of formation of a liquid between any two selected from among elements (a), (b) and (c) is negative. Particularly, the element (a) is Zn or Al, the element (b) is Mg, and the element (c) is Ca, and Au, Ag, Cu and Ni may be comprised in an amount of 0.1 to 7 at%. When these alloys are made into plated metal, and in a high corrosion resistant hot dip galvannealed metallic material having an amorphous volume fraction of≥50%, when the surface layer is perfectly made amorphous, a high reflectivity alloy plated metallic material can be obtained.
