A plasma display panel and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce EMI(Electro Magnetic Interference) by dividing a turn off time of data pulses into three groups. A frame as a display period includes plural sub-fields for time division gray scale display. Each of the sub-fields includes reset, address, and sustain periods(PR,PA,PS). In the address period, scan pulses are sequentially supplied to Y electrodes. Data pulses synchronized with the scan pulses are applied to the Y electrodes and address electrodes which form discharge cells to be displayed. The address electrodes are divided into plural groups. The last data pulse of the address period applied to the address electrode groups is turned off based on the address electrode groups. |
