The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, and disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a fingerprint event processing method, apparatus, and terminal capable of addressing the problem of how to simplify operation steps of a user terminal. The method comprises: receiving, by a terminal, a first fingerprint via a fingerprint sensor; generating, by the terminal, a fingerprint event according to the first fingerprint; when operations to be executed by the terminal comprise an identity authentication operation, executing, by the terminal, the identity authentication operation according to the fingerprint event; when operations to be executed by the terminal do not comprise an identity authentication operation, executing, by the terminal, an operation corresponding to a first preset event according to the first preset event. The solution provided in the embodiment of the present invention is suitable for processing fingerprint events. |
