The present invention relates to a system and method for associating radio frequency identification (RFID) based on data distributed service (DDS) over the Internet of things. The system for associating RFID based on DDS comprises: a DDS system which provides an interface so that different applications can share or communicate information through topic connection in order to manage distributed data based on a publish/subscribe model; and an RFID adaptor which publishes tag information, stored in an RFID tag based on the DDS, as a DDS topic in the DDS system, and enables other adaptors belonging to middleware to subscribe to the published DDS topic. Accordingly, the system according to the present invention publishes tag information based on a topic defined in the DDS via the RFID adaptor configured to detect and process tag information from an RFID tag by applying the publish/subscribe model of the DDS, and enables other adaptors belonging to middleware to subscribe to the topic published by the RFID adaptor, and thus information on the Internet of things can be associated and combined, thereby overcoming differences between the things. Furthermore, tag information of an RFID tag can be published as a data topic and an event topic by taking into account characteristics of RFID technology. |
