PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfluoro polyether group-containing compound having a halogen atom at a terminal, useful as a synthetic intermediate, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a perfluoro polyether group-containing compound represented by formula (I-a) or the like.
