PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exchanging device for a furnace bottom in a converter in which the device is made to small size and stops the turning of the furnace bottom. SOLUTION: The exchanging device 10 for the furnace bottom in the converter, is provided, in which a transferring truck 11 is disposed at the lower part of the converter 44 and a furnace bottom part laying table 14 is elevated/lowered with an elevating device 18 mounted on the transferring truck 11 and the furnace bottom part 16 laid on the furnace bottom part laying table 14, is attached/detached to the opening part 45 at the lower part of the converter 44. The elevating device 18 is provided with an elevating cylinder 19 which is fitted to the transferring truck 11 side at this lower end part and to the furnace bottom part laying table 14 side at the upper end part, an expanding guide 31 which holds the elevating cylinder 19 in this inner part and is fitted to the transferring truck 11 side at this lower part and to the furnace bottom part laying table 14 side at this upper part and has plural cylindrical bodies 32-34 concentrically disposed, and a middle part-bending type rotation-regulating member 40, in which the upper part is fitted to the furnace bottom part laying table 14 and the lower end part is arranged at the lower end part side of the expanding guide 31.
