PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the yield in a manufacturing process of light-emitting devices from decreasing and to reduce production time of the light-emitting devices.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device 60 including a light-emitting element 62 and a fluorescent substance 63 which is applied on the light-emitting element 62 to cover the same includes a potting condition determination step M2 of determining potting conditions of the fluorescent substance 63 before applying the fluorescent substance 63. In the potting condition determination step M2, a tristimulus value of mixed light of light from a light source 4 different from the light-emitting element 62 and light from a fluorescent substance 13 which is excited by the light from the light source and is different from the fluorescent substance 63 are measured, and application conditions of the fluorescent substance 63 are determined based on the tristimulus value. |
