PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide classification method and reagent for categorizing leucocyte contained in blood sample of dog or cat families into three groups by separating acidocyte from other leucocyte. SOLUTION: In this method, the blood sample of dog family or cat family is mixed with hemolytic solvent to dissolve erythrocyte in the above blood sample, leucocyte is constricted to prepare measuring sample, and the information related to size of leucocyte in the above measuring sample is measured. Base on this measured information, the above leucocyte is categorized into three groups such as 1st group including lymphocyte, 2nd group including neutrophil and monocyte, and 3rd group including acidocyte.
