PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wing lock of a thin construction in which a handlebar is held naturally in a position not interfering with some other member when the whole wing lock device rotate, capable of holding a stopper in a certain opened position not obstructing the opening and closing motions of a wing. SOLUTION: The invention comprises an engaging means 3 to engage the stopper 1 with the handlebar 2 with possibility of disengaging according to the pivoted moving positions of the stopper 1 and the handlebar 2 and transmit the operating force which the handlebar 2 has received to the stopper 1, an opening stopper 1a formed on the stopper 1 and stopping the pivoted motion in the opening direction of the stopper 1 upon abutting to a base plate B at the prescribed angle of the stopper 1, a resilient member 4 to connect a gate A with the stopper 1 resiliently and exerting an energizing force to hold the stopper 1 opened condition while the opening stopper 1a abuts to the base plate, and a first notch 5 to allow the handlebar 2 to make a relative pivoted motion with the stopper 1 in the condition that the engagement of the handlebar 2 with the stopper 1 generated by the engaging means 3 is released.
