METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR HOISTING HEAVY PARTS ONTO A WIND TURBINE

The wind turbine has a nacelle frame (1) and a first hoisting means (3) permanently mounted on the frame (1). The method comprises the steps of hoisting a second, more powerful hoisting means (4) and crane means (6) on the frame (1) by means of the first hoisting means (3); removably mounting the second hoisting means (4) and the crane means (6) on the nacelle frame (1); hoisting a winch (5) using the second hoisting means (4) and the crane means (6) on the frame (1) and removably mounting the winch (5) on said frame (1); performing operations involving handling heavy parts (100; 200) employing said winch (5); and removing and lowering said winch (5), crane means (6) and second hoisting means (4) from the frame (1).
