PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the recovery efficiency of grains over a rack from waste straws transported with a feed chain in a threshing apparatus. SOLUTION: The threshing apparatus 9 is equipped with a threshing cylinder 31 axially installed in a threshing chamber 33 to thresh grain culms with the threshing cylinder 31 while transporting the grain culms with the feed chain 15. Thereby, materials which are to be treated and leaked down from a threshing net 30 on the lower side of the threshing chamber 33 are received with a shaking and separating shelf 38 and shaken and separated while being shaken and transferred. In the threshing apparatus 9, a rear plate 54 of the threshing apparatus composing an outlet part of the threshing chamber 33 is provided with a resistor 53 which is composed so as to apply resistance to the grain culms transported with the feed chain 15.
