PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a prestress introducing method implemented by a structure that mechanically strains a tendon, arouses apprehension on easiness of work and integration with an anchorage device. SOLUTION: There is provided a bending reinforcing structure for a concrete structure, which is constructed in the following manner. Firstly a reinforcing steel plate is arranged on a tensile region of the concrete structure with a cavity secured therebetween, and temporarily fixed to the same in an expandable/contractive manner. Then the reinforcing steel plate is heated, and when the reinforcing steel plate is expanded due to heating, both ends of the reinforcing steel plate in a straining direction are fixed to fixtures rigidly arranged on the concrete structure beforehand, for allowing the ends of the reinforcing steel plate in the straining direction, to be fixed thereto. Thereafter when the reinforcing steel plate is returned to a room temperature condition, the temporary fixture of the reinforcing steel plate to the concrete structure is turned to be permanent fixture, and a filler is filled in the cavity between the tensile region and the reinforcing steel plate.
