PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic capable of removing excessive sebum which can not be removed by conventional cosmetics containing a sebum dissolving agent such as dipropylene glycol, etc. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is provided by examining (1) compatibility with a solid fatty acid at a high temperature and at a low temperature, (2) compatibility with a solid cyclic alcohol at a high temperature and at a low temperature, and (3) compatibility with a solid fatty acid triglyceride at a high temperature and at a low temperature, discriminating components capable of forming a uniform compatible system or a uniform dispersion system with any of the solid fatty acid, solid cyclic alcohol and solid fatty acid triglyceride at the high temperature and at the low temperature and also forming a liquid state system, as suitable components and blending the suitable components with the cosmetic for removing the sebum.
