The method for the biophysical correction of the neurologic state of the children and adults with congenital or acquired defects of central nervous system is proposed. The respiration of the patient is provided in the sessions of biocontrolled normobaric hypoxic therapy in three or four stages depending on the initial sensitivity of the patient to the oxygen deficiency. At the first stage (10-15 minutes), the oxygen content in hypoxic gas mixture (HGM) is gradually reduced from 21 % to 15-12 % until the increase in pulse rate (PR) by 10-15 % over the initial value. At the second stage, the respiration with HGM continues for further 5-8 minutes until PR stabilization. At the third stage, the respiration with HGM continues for 10-15 minutes followed by further reduction of oxygen content to 10 % but not less than 9 % until PR stabilization. The fourth stage is used only for patients who are highly resistant to hypoxia. The fourth stage is initiated after the repeated PR stabilization at the maximally tolerated hypoxia level. |
