<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for prevention of leakage of know-how of a motion program installed in a motion module. <P>SOLUTION: In a method of protecting a motion program for a programmable controller 1 mounted with a motion module 20 with the motion program installed therein, a password is preregistered in a password registration section 26; and when an input password, inputted by a password input section 28, does not match the registration password registered in the password registration section 26, editing, analyzing, decoding and other processing of the motion program are disabled by a motion program protection section 29, and the motion program is protected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
