PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross shaft joint in which seizure is prevented from occurring by improving a lubricating performance in the annular slidable contact area between the inner bottom surface of a bearing cup and the end surface of a shaft part. SOLUTION: A plurality of first land parts 30 extending outward from the radial inward and having an outward end part tilted and curved to the circumferential one side and a plurality of second land parts 31 extending outward within the range in which it does not exceed the length of the first land parts 30 project in the slidable contact area 22 of this cross shaft joint. By the relative rotation in the circumferential one side, a lubricant flows from the outer peripheral side of the slidable contact area 22 to the inner peripheral side in an oil passage 25 where the first land part 30 is positioned on the circumferential other side, and the lubricant flows from the inner peripheral side of the slidable contact area 22 to the outer peripheral side in the oil passage 26 where the second land part 31 is positioned on the circumferential other side.
